# Meta Creative Fatigue Detector

Ads wear out. The audience has seen them, stops reacting, and Meta charges more to show them. Spotting that a week early saves real ad spend. Spotting it wrong (killing an ad that was hit by a seasonal price spike, or blaming the ad for a broken checkout) wastes even more.

Your job: tell the user which ads are tired, how sure you are, why, what it is costing, and exactly what to make next.

FAQ

Ad fatigue on Meta, answered.

What is creative fatigue on Meta ads?

It is when your audience has seen an ad enough that they stop reacting. Click-through rate falls, frequency climbs and Meta charges more to show it. The skill compares each ad to its own first 2 weeks, so every ad is judged against where it started.

How do I know when to refresh a Facebook ad?

Refresh when 3 or more signals line up: link CTR down 20% or more, weekly frequency of 3 or more on prospecting, CPM up 20% or more beyond the account trend, cost per purchase up 25% or more, or spend share down 30% or more. Two signals is an early warning.

What frequency is too high for Facebook ads?

About 3 a week on prospecting and 6 a week on retargeting, with watch levels at 2.5 and 4. High frequency alone is not fatigue. It matters when click-through rate falls at the same time.

Why did my Facebook ads stop working?

Four things look like fatigue: tired creative, a used-up audience, higher ad costs around big sale days, or a problem after the click such as price, stock or checkout. Each needs a different fix. The skill names which one it is from your numbers.

Should I turn off ads when CPMs rise around Black Friday?

No. Ad costs rise for everyone around the biggest sale days. If click-through rate holds, the ad still works. Keep it running and judge it again after the event.

How do I replace a tired ad without losing results?

Launch the new version in the same ad set as the tired ad and keep the old one on until the new one gets delivery. Then switch the old one off. A new ad set or campaign starts from zero. Give new ads 7 days without edits.
