The 7 Best Facebook Ads Apps for Shopify in 2026

The 7 Best Facebook Ads Apps for Shopify in 2026

Most of the Facebook ads Shopify stores run in 2026 go through one of seven apps. Meta's free official app covers catalog and pixel, five paid tools between $39.95 and $1,399 a month sell campaign management, and Agency AI, the newest, charges a flat $59 with no cut of spend or revenue. Shopify also has a built-in option.

Every rating, review count and price below comes from each app's live Shopify App Store listing, opened August 10, 2026, with developers' descriptions of their own products labeled as claims.

Search the App Store for a Shopify Facebook ads app and most of page one is pixel and conversion trackers, not apps that build campaigns. The seven above actually create or manage ads, priced in three shapes: flat fees, spend-capped tiers, and percentages of your money.

Watch Out: Several older roundups recommend apps that no longer exist as Facebook ads tools. Sixads is delisted, Adoric now sells cart and popup apps, and StoreYa's current app is Google-only below its $1,000 a month Pro tier.

The Official Facebook and Instagram App, Honestly Assessed

The Facebook and Instagram app is the default install, live since October 2018 and marked as the official app from Meta. Per Meta's own listing it syncs your catalog to Facebook and Instagram Shop, sets up the conversion pixel, and handles ads and shoppable posts. It is free, ad spend bills directly to your Facebook ad account, and in practice it is the Shopify Meta integration itself.

The honest part is the rating. 3.7 from 5,088 reviews sounds middling until you see the shape: roughly 2,800 five-star reviews against roughly 1,200 one-star, with recent complaints, including one posted August 8, 2026, describing account restrictions and support problems.

Install it as plumbing, judge it as plumbing. Nothing in the listing promises optimization.

Campaign Autopilot, Shopify's Built-In Option

Shopify's own answer sits outside the App Store. Campaign Autopilot lives under Growth, then Autopilot in the admin, and per Shopify's documentation it sets up your ad account, syncs your catalog and runs optimized campaigns, recommending Meta Advantage+ campaigns for you to approve. It costs nothing beyond ad spend, which Meta bills directly, not through your Shopify invoice.

Two catches: it is in early access for select merchants, and it needs an established Meta Business account with Meta Ads connected as a channel. Shopify's docs also warn that edits made directly in Meta may be overwritten on the next update. Our Agency AI vs Campaign Autopilot comparison goes deep on both, so this list will not re-argue it.

The Paid Apps, Ranked by Rating

One note: The four established apps below all show reviews and developer replies from July or August 2026, the best activity proxy since Shopify publishes no last-updated date. The propose, approve, execute loop they share is unpacked in our guide to automating Facebook ads for a Shopify store.

1. AdScale

**AdScale** holds the strongest rating of the established paid apps, 4.7 from 337 reviews. Its listing describes AI campaigns for Facebook, Instagram and Google, agentic AI video and image creative, and 24/7 cross-channel bid and budget optimization, and says the company has been at this since 2018, which is its own claim.

Pricing follows your budget: Basic is $169 a month up to $1,000 in monthly ad spend, Growth $249 up to $2,000, Elite $329 up to $3,000, with a 14 day trial and the fee billed separately from your Shopify invoice.

2. Enhencer

**Enhencer**, listed as AI Ads: Facebook Ads That Sell, rates 4.5 from 148 reviews and prices like nothing else here. Pay As You Go is free to install and takes 9% of incremental revenue generated; the flat tiers are Growth at $499 a month and Pro at $1,399.

The listing pitches a full-funnel AI launcher for Meta and Google with AI audiences, an AI video generator and a 24/7 AI agent. Run the revenue-share math against your margins first: 9% of revenue is not 9% of profit.

3. Adwisely

**Adwisely** (4.4 from 149 reviews) positions itself closer to a managed service than a self-serve tool, AI-run Google and Meta campaigns with human specialists behind them, per its own listing.

Self-Serve costs $49 a month or 10% of ad spend, whichever is higher, Concierge is $249 a month against the same 10%, and both carry a 7 day trial. As with Enhencer, the percentage becomes the real price once spend grows.

4. Easy Ads

**Easy Ads**, full name AI - Easy Ads for Facebook Ads, rates 4.2 from 298 reviews and is the cheapest paid entry. A free Ad Account Audit tier leads into Basic at $39.95 a month and Pro at $59.95, with AI ad optimization reserved for Pro per the listing, and a 7 day trial on both.

The pitch is a done-for-you Facebook and Instagram funnel with preset audiences and AI copy.

5. Madgicx, the Caveat

**Madgicx** is still listed, 4.0 from 13 reviews, free to install with subscriptions from $49 a month, describing an Ad Cloud of attribution, performance dashboards, automation and AI creative analysis.

But its newest visible review dates to April 18, 2024, and it did not appear in the first two pages of Shopify's own facebook ads search on our check date. Still listed is not the same signal as actively supported, so read its current reviews before installing.

Where Agency AI Fits

Agency AI, listed as Agency AI: Meta, Google Ads AI, is the newest app here, launched October 27, 2025, and its rating reads accordingly: 5.0 from 4 reviews, a perfect score on a small sample.

Three of those reviews come from named storefronts, Mayhem Haus, Lolahemp and Vapor95, and Lolahemp's numbers get a full breakdown in our Lolahemp cost per acquisition case study. Shopify itself treats the comparison as fair: the More Apps Like This module on Agency AI's listing surfaces Meta's official app.

The listing's pitch, in its own words, is agentic AI for Meta and Google Ads, a 24/7 AI Strategist that plans, launches and optimizes campaigns, plus an AI design studio and a Claude and ChatGPT MCP connector.

The precise version matters. It monitors both ad accounts continuously and measures every recommendation against your break-even ROAS, but nothing changes on Meta without you: recommendation cards are there to review or dismiss, chat proposals wait for an explicit Approve, and only Google recommendations carry an Apply button.

The MCP connector is analysis, not execution, a category we mapped in our rundown of AdKit alternatives.

Pricing is the simplest in the set: $59 a month flat, or $492 a year, with a 30 day free trial, the longest on this page. No spend percentage, no revenue share.

Final Thoughts

The Facebook ads Shopify merchants run in 2026 still start at Meta's free official app for the integration itself, and everything paid is a management layer on top.

Pick the pricing shape you can live with at three times your current budget, not today's. And check the live listing before installing anything, because this category churns hard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Facebook and Instagram app for Shopify free?
Yes. It is free to install, with ad spend billed directly to your Facebook ad account, per the listing. What you get is integration: catalog sync, the pixel, ads and shoppable posts.
How much does a Shopify Facebook ads app cost?
Anywhere from free to $1,399 a month across the apps compared here. Easy Ads is the cheapest paid entry at $39.95 a month, Agency AI is a flat $59, and AdScale runs $169 to $329 by ad spend. Enhencer and Adwisely charge a percentage of revenue or spend instead of, or on top of, a flat fee.
Does Agency AI change my Meta ads automatically?
No. Meta recommendation cards are surfaced for you to review or dismiss, and changes proposed in the AI Strategist chat wait for an explicit Approve. Only Google recommendations carry an Apply button.
What happened to Sixads?
It has been delisted. As of August 10, 2026 its listing URL returns a page-not-found error and a store search for the name returns zero results, yet older roundups still recommend it.
